Mike Clarkin DC

Are you in pain or need a new chiropractor?

Dr. Mike is your no nonsense local chiropractor in Oakdale, PA.  Located 10-15 minutes from Robinson, Greentree, McDonald, Imperial and Bridgeville, Clarkin Family Chiropractic has proudly served Western Pittsburgh for over 16 years.

After graduating from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport Iowa, Dr. Michael Clarkin, DC otherwise known as 'Dr. Mike' put down roots in Oakdale, PA to partner with uncle Dr. Richard J Javarone, DC.  Dr. Mike took over the practice in 2007 when he retired and renamed the practice to Clarkin Family Chiropractic.

Dr. Mike resides in Oakdale, PA along with his wife Carolyn and their three boys.  He has been a pillar in the community for almost two decades and knows (almost) everyone on a first-name basis.

Beginning with his time at Palmer Chiropractic College and working with his uncle, Dr. Mike has been focused on spinal health, chiropractic care and well-being.  By offering treatment “the first time and every time,” you can have a lifestyle to be your best self.

Dr. Mike practices the traditional fundamentals of chiropractic treatment.  Dr. Mike utilizes what is commonly known as The Palmer Package.  This technique takes the best and most effective aspects of the diversified and gonstead chiropractic techniques combining them into one highly effective hands on approach. This is the reasoning behind many patients seeking out Palmer Graduated when looking for a chiropractor.

Clarkin Chiropractic also focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and conservative care of spine-related disorders and other painful joint issues.  In addition to adjustments, we also provide soft-tissue therapies, lifestyle recommendations, fitness coaching and nutritional advice.

You'll commonly hear Dr. Mike say, "text me if you're still having issues and I'll come in and give you an adjustment if we're closed." That’s Dr. Mike, always focused on YOU.
