Mike Clarkin D.C.
Dr. Michael Clarkin earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Valdosta State University in 2002, followed by his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2006. In March 2006, Dr. Clarkin and his wife, Carolyn, proudly took over the practice from his uncle, Dr. Richard Javarone, continuing a legacy of care established in the Oakdale community over two decades.
While Dr. Clarkin focuses on clinical care, Carolyn oversees all office management and assists with patient recovery by administering therapies such as electrical muscle stimulation (stim) and ultrasound. Together, they have built a practice dedicated to traditional, hands-on chiropractic philosophy. Over the past twenty years, Dr. Clarkin has successfully treated thousands of patients, from newborns to centenarians, utilizing manual techniques like the Palmer Package, Gonstead, and Diversified methods.
Dr. Clarkin is committed to delivering care with integrity, precision, and respect for the principles of chiropractic as it was originally intended to be practiced. He believes that every patient deserves attentive, personalized care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Throughout his career, he and Carolyn have made it their mission to serve all who seek their help, regardless of background or circumstance, striving to improve function, relieve pain, and enhance overall quality of life.
