Symptoms & Disorders
Ankle Pain
Your ankles work hard to keep you steady through every step, turn, and jump. They’re mighty joints built to balance your body’s weight while allowing enough flexibility to move in every direction. When your ankles feel stiff, swollen, or painful, it may make you feel unsteady and turn even simple activities into a balancing act.
Bursitis
Bursitis is a condition where a bursa becomes irritated or inflamed. A bursa is a tiny, fluid-filled sac that sits between structures like bones, muscles, and tendons. Its job is to act like a small cushion or water balloon, so those tissues can glide smoothly over one another instead of rubbing and scraping.
Upper Back Pain
Upper back pain is discomfort in the thoracic spine. This part of the spine goes from the base of the neck (T1) to the bottom of the ribcage (T12). This region supports the upper body, connects to the ribcage, and contributes to posture, breathing, and overall spinal stability.
Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a condition that causes widespread, long-lasting pain throughout your body. Many people describe it as a deep, constant ache in their muscles, tender spots that hurt to the touch, or a heavy, flu-like soreness even when they are not sick.

Growing Pains
Growing pains are a common cause of leg discomfort in children, often showing up in the early years and sometimes returning during the school-age stage. If your child has ever curled up in your lap at bedtime with sore legs, you know how hard it can be to watch them hurt and not be sure what to do.
Migraine Headaches
Migraines are more than just bad headaches. They are a complex neurological condition that affects how the brain processes pain and sensory information. Unlike a tension headache, which may cause a dull, achy sensation across both sides of the head, migraines often create intense, throbbing pain that starts on one side and can spread.
Repetitive Stress Disorder
A lingering ache after long hours of typing, lifting, twisting, or doing what you love can signal more than simple fatigue. Tingling in your wrist, stiffness through your shoulders, or tension that returns day after day often points to a repetitive stress disorder, also known as a repetitive strain injury.
Scoliosis
For many, scoliosis is a minor disruption to their day. They may notice a slight curve in their back or their shirt may not fit right. But for others, scoliosis symptoms may get in the way of the life they want to live. Learn about the condition, its causes, and how to find relief.

Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain is any discomfort you feel in or around your shoulder, ranging from a dull ache to a sharp, stabbing sensation. Shoulder pain can stem from many issues, such as rotator cuff injuries, arthritis, bursitis, frozen shoulder, or dislocation.
Arthritis
Any joint can technically get arthritis. That said, the most common places you’ll feel it are in the hands, wrists, shoulders, lower back, hips, knees, feet, or ankles. In short, it’s the joints that carry either a lot of weight or are used constantly throughout the day.
Lower Back Pain
Lower back pain, sometimes referred to as lumbar spine pain, refers to discomfort, tightness, or restricted movement in the lumbar spine, which is the section of your back that supports your upper body and absorbs stress from posture, movement, and daily life.
Ear Infections
An ear infection happens when part of the ear becomes swollen and irritated because fluid builds up and becomes infected by viruses or bacteria. Most of the time, when people say “ear infection,” they mean a middle ear infection in the small air-filled space just behind the eardrum.

Foot Pain
Foot pain is not just about how you stand. When every step hurts, you may start to avoid standing and walking whenever you can. Over time, that hesitation can quietly shift you toward a more sedentary routine, simply because it hurts to do the everyday things you used to do without thinking.
Neck Pain
As the bridge between your head and torso, your neck plays a key role in helping you move through life. Whether you’re typing at a computer, repainting your living room walls, or exercising at the gym, everyday activities may put strain on the vertebrae, ligaments, and muscles of the neck. That strain may lead to pain, often described as an achy, sore, or stiff neck, with restricted movement.
Sciatica
The thing about sciatica is it isn’t a medical condition itself. Instead, it’s the term doctors use to describe the pain you feel when one or both of your sciatic nerves get irritated or compressed
Elbow Pain
When your elbow hurts, it’s usually because one of the soft tissues in or around it is irritated, inflamed, or under stress. Think your tendons, your bursae (small, fluid-filled sacks that cushion your joints), and nerves.
